En mis primeros meses en España vi muchas mezclas de prendas de ropa de verano y invierno. La verdad es que en aquel momento me parecían absurdos. Ahora entiendo perfectamente las personas que disfrutaban de la moda y sus posibilidades. El look de hoy es una mezcla que me puedo permitir en España en este momento de año, los zapatos de otoño, vestido y las medias de primavera.

At the beginning when I came to Spain I saw many mixtures of summer and winter clothes. At that time it seemed really strange to me. Now I totally understand people I saw at that time on the streets – they enjoyed fashion and its many possibilities. Today’s look is a mixture which I can wear in Spain at that moment of the year – winter shoes and springs tights and dress.

Pamiętam jak na początku mojego pobytu w Hiszpanii widziałam mieszankę zimowych i letnich ubrań. W tamtym momencie wydawało mi się to absurdalne. Jednak teraz w pełni rozumiem osoby, które bawiły się moda i jej możliwościami. Dzisiejszy look to mieszanka, na która mogę sobie pozwolić w Hiszpanii w tym okresie – zimowe budy i wiosenna sukienka i rajtki.

Skirts and dresses - best friends in summer

I love summer. Until recently, despite the hot weather I would choose boyish, wide shorts and a T-shirt. In Spain, I got used  to dresses and skirts. Dress from the photos is another found gem. I'm not a big fan of this length but the lace inserts charmed me.

Me encanta el verano. Hasta hace poco, a pesar del clima caliente elegiría shorts de chicos - anchos y una camiseta. En España, me acostumbre a los vestidos y  las faldas. El vestido de las fotos es otra de las joyas encontradas. No soy un gran fan de esta longitud pero este encaje me encanto.

Uwielbiam lato. Jeszcze niedawno pomimo upalnej pogody ubrałabym chłopięce, szerokie krótkie spodnie i jakiś podkoszulek. W Hiszpanii przekonałam się do sukienek i spódnic.  Sukienka za zdjęć to kolejna znaleziona perełka.  Nie jestem wielkim fanem tej długości ale koronkowe wstawki mnie zauroczyły.

Girly style dress

Chyba każdy lubi trafiać na prawdziwe perełki  kiedy najmniej się tego spodziewamy. Tak właśnie było z tą sukienką. Jej dolna część zrobiona jest z koła i bardzo podkreśla talię. Szkoda, że teraz rzadko można spotkać sukienki w takim dziewczęcym stylu.  Dlatego tym bardziej cieszę się z jej znalezienia.

Creo que a todos nos gusta encontrar las verdaderas joyas cuando menos lo esperamos. Eso es lo que pasó con este vestido. La parte de abajo tiene la forma de circulo y hace hincapié en la cintura. Es una lástima que ahora es casi imposible de encontrar este tipo de vestidos en este  estilo. Por eso me alegro aun mas de haberla encontrado.

I think everyone likes to find the real gems when you least expect it. That's what happened with this dress. The lower part has the shape of circle and emphasizes the waist. It is a pity that nowadays it is so rare to find dresses in girlish style. That's why I’m even happier that I have found it.

Życie w Alcali ma i swoje plusy i minusy, zresztą jak wszystko. Pamiętam jak wybierałam miejsce wyjazdy na rok na stypendium na Uniwersytecie na ostateczną decyzje miał wpływ możliwość rocznego pobyt i bliska odległość od Madrytu.  Cel: Alcala de Henares. Tam a raczej tu właśnie pojechałam. Lata mijają a ja nadal cieszę się bliskością Madrytu. Te zdjęcia zostały zrobione na jednej  z ulic Madrytu. Jeśli kiedykolwiek uda Wam się tu znaleźć postarajcie się zgubić i odłożyć  przewodnik na bok.

Life in Alcala  has its pros and cons (but I will write about it in anther post), like everything else anyway. I remember when I was choosing a place for my year scholarship at the University the point that helped me took my final decision were : an annual opportunity to stay in Spain and close distance from Madrid. Destination: Alcala de Henares. The place where I went. Years go by and I'm still enjoying the proximity of Madrid. These pictures were taken on one of the streets in Madrid. If you ever have an opportunity to come here try to lost yourself between all the streets and leave your guide aside.

La vida en Alcalá tiene sus pros y sus contras (pero voy a escribir sobre ello en el otro post ), como todo lo demás. Recuerdo que cuando estaba eligiendo un lugar para mi beca de un año en la Universidad el punto de que me ayudó tomar mi decisión final fueron: una oportunidad anual para estar en España y la cercanía de Madrid. Destino: Alcalá de Henares. Allí, o mejor dicho aquí es donde me fui . Pasan los años y sigo disfrutando de la cercanía de Madrid. Estas fotos fueron tomadas en una de las calles de Madrid. Si alguna vez tengáis la oportunidad de venir aquí os tenéis que perder entre las calles y dejar el guía en el hotel.

In summer it's not easy to choose something comfortable and elegant  when going to work. That's why I try to choose good materials which can help us to survive these days.
This blouse was perfect - thin but still elegant together with this white skirt. Really like this outfit.

En verano no es fácil elegir algo cómodo y elegante para trabajar. Es por eso que trato de elegir buenos materiales que nos pueden ayudar a sobrevivir estos días.Esta blusa era perfecta - fina pero elegante junto con esta falda blanca. Este modelo me gusta mucho.
